01 · PROBLEM

Family trees keep names. What disappears is everything around them: the recipe, the ritual, the word grandmother used for home.

{{ whyLabel }}
ScatteredPhotos in chats, recipes on paper, records in a cupboard.
SpokenElders hold most of it, and they tell rather than write.
UnownedEveryone is related. No one is responsible for keeping it right.

04 · WHAT I LEARNED

Hiding is a feature. The biggest gains came from taking people off the screen.

Defaults are political. One field like gotra can tell a family “this isn’t for you”.

Approval builds trust, not friction.
